Autumn’s Awesome Activities

My tomatoes are just beginning to ripen and wouldn’t you know it  here comes Autumn.

Again, this month has a robust schedule for me and our team.  

I will be attending a Leadership Seminar in Washington, DC.  There I will be meeting with business people from all over the world. I will also be meeting with the CEO of Network of Caring, This is the humanitarian charitable organization that gave me logistical support in India and actually financed the orphanage that my daughter, wife and Iworked in for over a week.  I will be planning a joint effort trip with them and Los Medicos Voladores to a devastated  village in South Africa.  We will be conducting a free dental clinic there and at another location with a charity called RSAA. This trip will take place next May but we need to start the planning now for airlines and equipment. A dear friend, fred Hecht,  who has traveled the world with me will  be the other dentist going.  

This month I am helping plan a spiritual memorial commemoratingthe 10 year anniversary of the 9-11 attack.  On Sunday 9/11 at the First Presbyterian Church in down town Napa we will be having a special service at 9 o’clock and 10:30 called “Honor, Healing and Hope”.  This is an invitation to attend this wonderful event. 

Also this month is the California Dental Association’s annual Meeting called the Art of Science of Dentistry. I will be taking several of my team members to this San Francisco convention to learn about all the newest and latest  equipment, supplies, techniques, research and services in the field of dentistry! 

I would like to invite all of you to join me and some of my team members  on September 24th, 2011, for the third annual 6K Fun Run & Walk along the Napa River Trail sponsored by COPE Family Center.. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to “rock” along the Trail from Kennedy Park to Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Napa.  Whether you are a serious runner or just out for a morning walk, the Napa River Rock & Stroll is a great way to engage in a healthy activity for a worthy cause ~ our children.
